I am a doctorate student in Anthropology at the University of Oxford. I am currently back home in Singapore, on fieldwork. My DPhil project studies the work of materiality in the making, authorising, and perpetuating of 'Indian-ness' in Singapore.
Concurrently, I have developed several projects that evoke the work of objects in making representations, and that challenge the institution of the museum.
I also write plays, reviews of theatre, and responses to dramatic performances and films.
Across my work, I seek to think with the more-than-human, the hidden/silenced archives, and the knowledges our bodies carry.
